	Will Mejia

Growing up all over the world in places like Australia, Colombia, Japan, and the U.S., Will Mejia brings a global perspective to KIPP. While completing his high school career via distance education, he earned a spot on the Colombian National Track Team and participated in several international competitions. After winning numerous college athletic awards, which include 11 time All-Conference honors and Athlete of the year as well as establishing 3 school records, and the Aspira Award for Excelling Minorities. Mr. Mejia went on to establish PE and athletic programs at North Grand HS, where he coached the girls' soccer team to a city championship title. Mr. Mejia is proud of the advances we have made in our sports program having taken our boys basketball team last year to the area finals and having coached 9 of our students to a top 10 placing city wide in track. Mr. Mejia has a B.A. from North Park University and is going to receive his MBA from Aspen University in the spring of 2008. Mr. Mejia is also a proud husband and father to Guillermo (5 years) Alexander (2 years), and Jasmine Mejia (4 months).
