	Rebecca Boncher

Rebecca Boncher’s teaching experience ranges from teaching at one of the top middle schools in the state of Wisconsin to teaching a remedial summer school biology class on the south side of Chicago.  It was her teaching experience in Chicago Public Schools that introduced her to KIPP.  As the founder of the science department, she is currently completing her third year of teaching at KIPP Ascend.  Ms. Boncher is currently teaching seventh grade biology and eighth grade physical science, yet in the past she has also taught fifth and sixth grade. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Ms. Boncher attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison (GO BADGERS!).  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Natural Science as well as a certificate in Secondary Education.
