	Mona Fell

Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Mona Fell attended Virginia Tech and received a Bachelor’s of the Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Middle School Math Education and Middle School Science Education.  She was accepted into a one-year Masters of Education program, which included student teaching in rural Southwest Virginia. In August 2005, Mona and her husband moved to Chicago, where she taught eighth grade math before coming to KIPP Ascend.  After graduate studies, Mrs. Fell taught fifth grade for a year and second grade for two years in Prince George County, VA.  Mrs. Fell and her husband moved to Chicago in August of 2005 after getting married.  She taught eighth grade math for a year in the Chicago Public School system.
