TEACHING FACULTY

China Hill

China Hill has over five years of experience in the education field, including teaching literacy to adult learners. Ms. Hill is one of KIPP Ascend Charter School’s founding teachers and currently teaches Responsibility and Citizenship to 5th graders. In addition to teaching, Ms. Hill writes a monthly education column for the Austin Weekly News. Ms. Hill earned her B.S. in Elementary Education at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and her M.A. in Writing from DePaul University.
